Dear Parents,

 I am sending your the following email sent by the parent of one of our 
participants.

To other parents of students with Sweet Briar College:
I have just returned from a 12 day trip to Paris to visit my daughter 
and want to reassure others that the situation has been enhanced by the 
media. I felt no ramifications of the rioting/car burning while in Paris 
and traveled on the RER on Monday 11/14 from Charles de Gaulle airport 
without incident. I do agree that students should be prudent about not 
traveling in certain areas or alone at night; my daughter and I felt 
untouched by the reported violence.
