Dear Madame Scouten,
After emailing Professor Lambeth, he suggested that I ask you to forward
a message to the students still in Paris. Reading the text will help
you understand my
goals. Could you please pass the following message on to the JYF list
serve? Thank you.
Subject line: A Message from Joelle Webb- JYF Fall 2003
Dear Colleagues,
At the end of the month I will be returning to Paris to conduct some
Anthropological research. Bryn Mawr College, my home institution,
requires senior to produce theses in their major fields. My chosen
topic is American
Adaptations to French Culture, specifically diet. I’m sure you all have
a lot to say about your expectations of and experiences with French
Food. I intend
to interview as many of you as possible while I am in Paris from May
19th- May 30th. I would like to join whatever lunch plans you usually
make on one
of these days (to survey what you eat), and elicit your responses to
some questions. (Compensation will include my gratitude and a small
token of
appreciation from the States) Please email me your email address, phone
number and availability for the end of the month and I will get in
contact with you
shortly with more details. Spring semester students are also encouraged
to reply.
Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
bisou bisou,
