French Intern
Position

A private/independent school in Maryland is seeking a recent graduate
with strong preparation in the French language to replace an
experienced French teacher on sabbatical second semester. Fluency in
the language is required. The experienced teacher will mentor
the Intern for the first term; the Intern will cover the classes for the
second term. The Intern will be expected to counsel students
academically and to advise one or more extracurricular activities.
Ability to coach two or three boy's sports is essential.
Location: Maryland
Work Begins: August 2002
Requirements: BA in French and a strong academic record, fluency in
language, ability to coach boy's sports. Teacher certification not
required.
Salary: $18,000 plus guaranteed housing and medical benefits.
