[Fallfest] Gender balance feedback

Yo Dancers,

We strive hard to maintain a gender balance of no more than 8% extra women.  
In other words, out of every 100 dancers, no more than 54 women and at least 
46 men.  Our reasoning when we established this goal is our belief that women 
like to sit out more to talk with friends than men.  The purpose of a gender 
balance policy is to have a festival where everyone who wants to dance can dance 
with the gender they want.  

It is not a perfect world.  But we try hard to make it the best we can.

May I request that you conciously notice how things are going this weekend.  
Do you notice women or men sitting out that would rather be dancing?  Do you 
experience that yourself?  Or does it seem to be working OK?

Please report your observations back to me.  I'll summarize at the wrap-up 
meeting.
