[Fallfest] Apprentice for Rob Craighurst (Registration for Fall Festival)

Hi All,
    As I mentioned in the agenda for the April meeting, Rob is looking for an apprentice to assist this year with registration and learn the job in order to hopefully take it over in future years.  Below is a description, in Rob's words,  of what an apprentice would need to do this year in order to prepare to take it on in future years.  Please email me if you are interested in taking this on. APPRENTICE FOR ROB CRAIGHURST (REGISTRATION FOR FALL FESTIVAL)    Requirements for the job in general are that he/she must love contra dancing and enjoy people.  S/he must understand that the registrar is an ambassador for our dance community.  Taking care of our "customers" is everything.  S/he must be someone who values and enjoys that.  In addition, it would be very helpful if they have some computer skills, especially with Microsoft Access, or at least be willing to learn.
Specifically, for this year with the current system, the apprentice would need to come to my house in Belmont to do his/her work.  We need to be working off the same database file.  Also, there are small quirks that I may need to explain or walk someone through.  Only in that way would someone truly learn the system and, at the same time, actually be a help to me.
