[Fallfest] Fall Fest Committees Meeting, April 19th

Dear Fall Festival Committee Members,
       There will be a Fall Festival meeting on Tuesday, April 19th  from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the home of Gaye Fifer and Michelle Jividen.  
      First, I would like to thank everyone for all of their hard work and enthusiasm last year.  And thank you to the committee heads who have re-upped for this year.  
     Please SEND AGENDA ITEMS to me over email (just reply to this email to get me) or by phone (434-263-6288) to be included in the agenda for the April 19th meeting.  Also, send me your SUGGESTIONS FOR LOCAL BANDS AND CALLER and I will compile a list.
      Shawn Brenneman has graciously agreed to do our flier again, but as she will be out of the country for a month in May and traveling a great deal this summer, we need to pin as much down at this upcoming meeting as possible in order to get the fliers finished before she goes. 
       The dates for the festival are:  Oct 14th-16th.  Our band is The Percolators (Joe Herrmann, CW Abbot, David Cahn, Larry Edelman and Joe Fallon) and the caller is Beth Molaro.  We will be paying each band member and the caller $500 (this does not include travel).  Sound has already been arranged by Teri, for which we are paying less than last year, I believe. RAISING PRICES (RAISE TO $60 for pre-registration and $70 after Sept. 1st?)

CHOOSING THE FRIDAY NIGHT LOCAL BAND(s)/CALLER 
        The question has been raised as to whether or not there should be only one Friday night band because of time lost dancing because of change in set up for the second band.
