An informal and friendly evening of dancing to recorded
music--some help provided by request
Bonus:   in addition, there are a few of us that are interested in some
other dance styles like Swing, Salsa, and Zydeco.
So by request we encourage others to suggest we change the pace
towards the end of the evening (9:15ish) or just continue waltzing!

2. Weds., Oct. 28 - International Folk Dance in C'ville

Charlottesville International Folk Dancers meets Wednesday evenings
at the Senior Center, 1180 Pepsi Place, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

 Join people of all ages to learn and do lively, haunting, or gentle
folk-dances from many different countries.

Teaching is from 6:30 - 7:15 p.m.,
and recreational dancing is from 7:15 - 8:30 p.m.

Dance is usually every first Sunday, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Beginner's workshop at 6:00 p.m.
Carysbrook Gym, 8880 James Madison Highway, Fork Union.

$6 admission, $3 students, 12 and under free

Please bring clean, soft-soled shoes.

Directions to the dance
Carysbrook Gym is on Route 15 south of the village of Palmyra
and north of the intersection with Route 6 at Dixie.

>From Charlottesville take Route 20 South to Route 53 East
(towards Monticello). Follow Route 53 East to the end and turn right
onto Route 15 South. Go about four miles to Carysbrook on the left.
Approximately 30 minutes.

>From Richmond take Route 6 West (Patterson Avenue)
through Goochland County and into Fluvanna County,
through the town of Columbia to the intersection with Route 15.
Turn right onto Route 15 North and go about two miles to Carysbrook
on the right. Approximately one hour.

>From anywhere via I64 - take exit 136/Route 15. Turn onto Route 15 South
and go south through the village of Palmyra. Continue on Route 15 South
about four miles to Carysbrook on the left.
Approximately 20 minutes travel on Route 15.
