Charlottesville International Folk Dancers meets Wednesday evenings
at the Senior Center, 1180 Pepsi Place, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

 Join people of all ages to learn and do lively, haunting, or gentle
folk-dances from many different countries.

Teaching is from 6:30 - 7:15 p.m.,
and recreational dancing is from 7:15 - 8:30 p.m.

2. Lost at Greenwood May 25

Cawood  Fitzhugh lost a nice pair of biking sunglasses at the Sunday
dance.  They are dark with a wine frame.   She was sitting close to the
soundboard so if anyone sitting  near there may have gotten her glasses
by mistake please give her a call  @ 434-249-9422.

3. Saturday, May 31 - Swallowtail Contra in Richmond

Enjoy this special 5th Saturday dance with one of the premier
New England contra dance bands.
Cost for this dance is $9 members/students and $12 non-member

The usual 1st Friday Contra at MAC will be replaced by a Special Swallowtail
Contra at the Greenwood Community Center.

Admission: $10

Directions to the Greenwood Community Center: Take I-64 to Route 250 (Crozet
exit). Go west to 690 (right turn) to 691 (right again) in Greenwood. The
Greenwood Community Center is on the right.

The Baltimore Folk Music Society is putting on a special Swallowtail dance
for experienced dancers.  it'll be on Saturday, June 7th.
