Charlottesville International Folk Dancers meets Wednesday evenings
at the Senior Center, 1180 Pepsi Place, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Join people of all ages to learn and do lively, haunting, or gentle
folk-dances from many different countries.
Teaching is from 6:30 - 7:15 p.m.,
and recreational dancing is from 7:15 - 8:30 p.m.

4. Next Friday, June 6 - Special Swallowtail Contra at Greenwood
The usual 1st Friday Contra at MAC will be replaced by a Special Swallowtail
Contra at the Greenwood Community Center.
Admission: $10
The band: Swallowtail (from New England) - David Cantieni, Timm Troplet,
Tim Van Egmond, Ron Grosslein & George Marshall
The callers: George Marshall & Tim Van Egmond
Directions to the Greenwood Community Center: Take I-64 to Route 250 (Crozet
exit). Go west to 690 (right turn) to 691 (right again) in Greenwood. The
Greenwood Community Center is on the right.

5. Next Saturday, June 7 - Special Swallowtail Contra in Baltimore
The Baltimore Folk Music Society is putting on a special Swallowtail dance
for experienced dancers. lt'll be on Saturday, June 7th.
