1. Weds., May 7 - International Folk Dance in C'ville
Charlottesville International Folk Dancers meets Wednesday evenings
at the Senior Center, 1180 Pepsi Place, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Join people of all ages to learn and do lively, haunting, or gentle
folk-dances from many different countries.
Teaching is from 6:30 - 7:15 p.m.,
and recreational dancing is from 7:15 - 8:30 p.m.

2. Thursday, May 8 - Special Open Waltz in C'ville
Newly Added Open Waltz:
The regular Waltz lesson this Thursday, May 8th, will be in an Open Waltz
format,
6:00-8:00 at the Burnley-Moran Gym
You need not be taking the current Waltz classes to attend. Everyone is
welcome.
We will enjoy open waltzing to a great mix of recorded music.
There is no admission, but we will accept donations for Gaye's Waltz fund.

3. Friday, May 9 - English Country Dance in Ivy
The next Charlottesville English Country dance at St. Paul's Episcopal
Church, Ivy
is Friday, May 9, at 8 o'clock
Introductory instruction at 7:30. No partner needed.
Admission $5 for adults, $3 for students, no charge under 12.
The dance will be led by:
Caller: Howard Markham
Musicians: Beth Kuhn, fiddle and recorder, Connie Muscenti, piano and
concertina,
Nick Kuhn, guitar and cello, and Colin Ramirez, flute and mandolin.
We will be celebrating the season with boughs of May and a couple of
madrigals at intermission.
