1. Continuing Tuesday, March 19 - The Nimble Nightingale's Ball and
Workshops

The Nimble Nightingale's Ball hosted by the MBC Performing Dance Group
and the Staunton English County Dancers will feature English and early
American Country dances from the 1780's - 1820's.

The Nimble Nightingale's Ball will be held on
Saturday, March 29, 7:00 p.m.,

Physical Activity Center, Dance Studio,

$25 adults, $15 students, formal or period attire requested.

Tickets must be purchased by March 21.

We will offer free dance workshops in preparation for the
Nimble Nightingale's ball

on March 18, 20, 25, and 27 from 7 - 9 p.m.
in the Physical Activity Center Dance Studio at Mary Baldwin College.

Additional ball workshops will be offered by Staunton's English Country
Dance group.
Gypsy Hill Park, Garden Center, 7:30 - 10:00 p.m.
Friday March  21 and 28.
$2 fee

2. Weds., March 19 - International Folk Dance in C'ville

Charlottesville International Folk Dancers meets Wednesday evenings
at the Senior Center, 1180 Pepsi Place, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

 Join people of all ages to learn and do lively, haunting, or gentle
folk-dances from many different countries.

Teaching is from 6:30 - 7:15 p.m.,
and recreational dancing is from 7:15 - 8:30 p.m.

                        & Henry Koretsky (guitar & mandolin)
    The caller:   David Colestock

    Dance is every 1st, & 3rd Fri, 8-11 PM.
    Beginners' workshop at 7:30.

$8 admission, $5 students
($5 after 9:30, youths 12 -18 $5 & under 12 free).

Please bring clean, soft-soled shoes.
