I'm writing you to inform you about a very special event happening this 
weekend in Charlottesville:

A Hula Workshop!!
Mou'a Vahine Polynesian Dance Co is hosting a great teacher in the art 
of Hula Dancing.

Celena Foronda (of Hampton Roads) and the Wahine of Halau Kahealani 
would like to share their aloha with you here in Charlottesville.
Please join us for a weekend of Hawaiian dancing.  These classes are 
open to all skill levels, ages, shapes and sizes, and abilities.

Saturday, March 8th: 10am-12pm -Hula Basics - Beginner or advanced 
dancer; learn the beautiful steps of the Hawaiian islands.
Sunday, March 9th: 9-11am - Auana - Learn choreography to a Hawaiian 
mele (song).  We'll pass the spirit of Aloha to all of our communities!

The cost is $60 for participation in both days and $35 for one day.  
This fee includes handouts, music and song translations to take home 
with you.

The workshop will be held in Studio 11 of McGuffey Art Center (201 2nd 
Street NW in Charlottesville).
