3. Saturday, June 28 - Bean King/Floorplay CD Release Party in C'ville
Floorplay has a new CD out, so we're going to have a Block Party!
Join the fun at Aaron's house and back yard in beautiful Belmont,
Charlottesville, VA on Saturday June 28,
starting at 4pm and ending when the last tune is played.
Location: 1413 Early St. Charlottesville, VA
There'll be jamming, dancing, eating, drinking, CD buying,
and all around good timing.
We'd love to see your smiling visage and there's no pressure
to actually buy a CD.
So come as you are, or come as you will be in a couple weeks,
and bring instruments, a potluck item, something to drink,
perhaps a pickin' chair, and your effervescent spirit(s).
You can even bring some like minded friends.
Carpooling is strongly encouraged.
The general agenda is:
4pm: The throngs begin to arrive; tunes; wander over to the CD table!
6pm: Potlucking commences
7:30-dark: contradance in the yard; featuring Floorplay
dark-late: tunes; small group discussions; perusing the CD table.
Check out our web site for the very latest details: www.itsfloorplay.com.
What, you might ask, are your options if you can't make it to the big
shinding
but still want one of these collector's quality CDs, full of lively and
original tunes?
Well...you can corner someone in the band and buy a copy directly from us;
you can stop by Alakazam; or you can go online to
http://cdbaby.com/cd/floorplay
and, with just a few quick mouse clicks, you can get a uniformed government
agent
to hand deliver it to your door!
Either way, we'd love it if you go to cdbaby and add a review!
And how much, you might ask, will this nearly-cult-classic set you back?
A mere 15 US dollars, or barely enough for just 3.75 gallons of unleaded.
The CD can surely take you farther!
* This party is officially sanctioned by His Highness the Bean King.
All hail King Rob!
See you soon!
Paul, Rya, and Aaron
