Charlottesville International Folk Dancers meets Wednesday evenings
at the Senior Center, 1180 Pepsi Place, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

 Join people of all ages to learn and do lively, haunting, or gentle
folk-dances from many different countries.

Teaching is from 6:30 - 7:15 p.m.,
and recreational dancing is from 7:15 - 8:30 p.m.

                        Patti Reum (whistles & flutes), Jack Maus (piano)
                        & David Stone (mandolin & guitar)
    The caller:   Greg Frock

    Dance is every 1st, & 3rd Fri, 8-11 PM.
    Beginners' workshop at 7:30.

$8 admission, $5 students
($5 after 9:30, youths 12 -18 $5 & under 12 free).

Please bring clean, soft-soled shoes.

(new hardwood floor!) on O Hill,
join Sentimental Journey on Saturday night at Newcomb Hall,
Slinky's Garage plays blues late night Saturday at 214 Community Arts
Center,
and other informal venues abound!

    ahead onto Edgewood Rd.
   At the next stoplight go left onto Augusta St.

Brendan has a  Master's degree in traditional Irish music at the
Irish World Music Centre, part of the University of Limerick,
on Ireland's west coast.
