Charlottesville International Folk Dancers will have their weekly dance on
Tuesday evenings from 6 - 8:30 p.m. This will be held at the Senior Center
(1180 Pepsi Place). Join people of all ages for teaching and recreational
dancing from cultures all over the world.

Dance is every 1st, & 3rd Fri, 8-11 PM.
Beginners' workshop at 7:30. $7 admission ($4 after 9:30, youths 12 -18
$4 & under 12 free).
Please bring clean, soft-soled shoes.

3. Saturday, Nov. 3 - Troublesome Creek Benefit Performance
Troublesome Creek will be performing a benefit concert for the
214 Community Arts Center on Saturday, November 3rd at 8:00 p.m.
Tickets are $14 advance/ $18 door, $10 for students,
and are available at Plan 9 (both locations), Greenberry's and Sidetracks.

4. Sunday, Nov. 4 - Irish Ceili (social dance) in C'ville
We won't be holding monthly Irish set dance classes on Wed. nights this
fall.
But you'll still have the opportunity to dance to live music with
instruction at
the first-Sunday Irish social dance sponsored by BRIMS.
The season starts on Sunday Oct. 7....
The Blue Ridge Irish Music School will be presenting a monthly Irish CÉILÍ
(social dance party) with live music and instruction on first Sundays,
October through
May, at the 214 Community Arts Center, 214 Rugby Rd in Charlottesville.
Beginner instruction at 6:30 p.m. will be followed from 7:00-8:00 with
family- friendly dancing, followed by intermediate dancing from 8:00-9:00
for adults and teens, then advanced dancing from 9:00 to 9:30.
Non-alcoholic beverages and snacks for sale.
Everyone welcome including spectators. $7 adults, $4 under age 16
(BRIMS members pay $5/$2) at the door.
Between 7 and 8 p.m. there will be easy "ceili dances."
Then, we'll be teaching/calling set dances after 8:00 p.m.
So mark your calendar for Sunday evenings Oct. 7, Nov. 4, and Dec. 2.
