Some of you may have heard James's red hot fiddling at the April contra
dance in Dayton.... James Leva & Purgatory Mountain (Al Tharp, Danny
Knicely, and Mattie Olwell) will be playing on Friday, May 11th, 2007 at
7:30 at the Dayton Learning Center. This is also a belated CD release party
for the Harrisonburg area! A concert at Dayton Learning Center, which is
just that - a learning center by week day, but becomes a concert/dance hall
on weekends! Neat old gymnasium with stage and great acoustics. 290

picking, Irish and Cajun infused fiddling, African banjo rhythms gospel,
original country songwriting, Celtic step dancing, Southern-style flat
