Charlottesville International Folk Dancers will have their weekly dance on
Tuesday evenings from 6 - 8:30 p.m.  This will be held at the Senior Center
(1180 Pepsi Place). Join people of all ages for teaching and recreational
dancing from cultures all over the world.

2. Weds., May 2 - Renaissance Dance at UV New Cabell Hall room 123 ?

 Renaissance Dance, 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, 7PM.

  No admission, but donations to cover the cost of the
hall appreciated.  Primarily English Country Dance of the early seventeenth
century and Italian dance of the late 16th.  No experience required,

    Dance is every 1st, & 3rd Fri, 8-11 PM.
    Beginners' workshop at 7:30. $7 admission ($4 after 9:30, youths 12 -18
    $4 & under 12 free).

Please bring clean, soft-soled shoes.

4. Sunday, May 6 - Irish Social Dance in C'ville

Irish Social Dance Sunday May 6 at 214 Rugby Rd. Charlottesville (former
Prism) sponsored by the Blue Ridge Irish Music School.   This month features
the Irish band Cocklebur.  Beginner instruction at 6:30 p.m. Family-oriented
dancing from 7 to 8, followed by intermediate dancing in square sets for
adults and teens from 8 to 9, then advanced dancing from 9:00 to 9:30.
Non-alcoholic beverages and snacks for sale. Everyone welcome including
spectators. $7 adults, $4 under age 16 (BRIMS members pay $5/$2) at the
