6. Sunday, June 10 - Benefit Contra for Beau & Tim Carr in Greenwood

Beau and Tim Carr's apartment building suffered a recent fire.
Two other families had insurance and the woman who started the fire has been
rescued by her parents and Beau, unfortunately, did not have insurance.
Fortunately, the firewall prevented their unit from
being destroyed (3 other units were destroyed). However, the entire
building will be demolished.

A special benefit dance will be Sunday June 10th from 6:30- 9:30 at
Greenwood Community Center. Open to all - admission: $7, or whatever
you would like to donate. Band and caller in the works.
Anyone who would like to contribute should put their money toward the
benefit as opposed to sending it to the fund for all four families.

Much thanks to Becky Cohen and the Contra Corners Committee for
organizing this benefit and to everyone who will contribute to make this a
success.
