Charlottesville International Folk Dancers will have their weekly dance on
Tuesday evenings from 6 - 8:30 p.m.  This will be held at the Senior Center
(1180 Pepsi Place). Join people of all ages for teaching and recreational
dancing from cultures all over the world.

The Stuff will be playing at Saxx on August 23rd with a swing dance

4. Saturday, August 25 - House Square Dance in C'ville

Hello, Aaron Olwell here, I don't know if you remember me, I'm a local
musician and dancer.  I'm writing because a friend of mine, Michael Ismerio,
from Portland OR. is going to be passing through town, and has agreed to
call a square dance at my house Saturday the 25th.  So, I was hoping you
might be willing to pass an email along to your group about it.  Here's all
the pertinent information, please feel free to edit or alter as you see fit.

Attention lovers of Southern square-dancing and Old-Time music!  The caller
Michael Ismerio, of Portland, OR. will be calling a one-time only
square-dance on Saturday the 25th in Charlottesville.  This might never
happen again!  Don't miss the chance!

Where:  2600 Jefferson Park Ave.  From the corner of JPA and Fontaine, take
JPA towards the Fry Springs Beach Club.  When you reach the first stop sign
at the corner of JPA and Old Lynchburg, 2600 is on your left.  There is some
parking there, and additional parking across the street in the parking lot
of the beach club.

When:  Saturday the 25th from 7:00 p.m. until you all are to tired to dance
anymore.

What to bring:  Yourself, friends (carpool if you can), comfortable shoes.

Admission is pay what you may!

Music will be provided by Aaron Olwell and friends.

 There will be good drinking water and other refreshments available.

All ages and experience levels are welcome!  All you need is to be willing
to try!
