5. Next Weds., Sept. 20 - Renaissance Dance at MAC in C'ville

Renaissance Dance, 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, 7PM, Charlottesville
Municipal Arts Center.  No admission, but donations to cover the cost of the
hall appreciated.  Primarily English Country Dance of the early seventeenth
century and Italian dance of the late 16th.  No experience required,

6. Next Weds., Sept. 20 - Irish Step Dance Class in C'ville

The Blue Ridge Irish Music School will hold an Irish Set Dance Workshop Wed.
Sep. 20 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the Westminster
Presbyterian Church on Rugby Road in Charlottesville.  Special instruction
for beginners will start at 6:45 p.m.  Park in the lot behind the church in
the area closest to Gordon Avenue, near the former Prism Coffeehouse
building.  Enter the door to the Fellowship Hall of the church complex from
this lot.  Subsequent workshops will be held the third Wednesday of the
month in the former Prism space.  On Sep. 20, dancers may pay $20 for the
entire series Sep.through Dec. 2006, or $7 at the door each month.
