2. Saturday, Dec. 2 - Old Time Barn Dance in New Market
Old Time Barn Dance featuring Contras and Squares will be held on Sat. Dec.
2nd from 7-10 PM
at the New Market Community Center, behind the Rescue Square Building on
Dixie Lane, New Market.
The caller will be Eva Murray and music will be provided by Two Gun Terry &
Friends.

Admission $5/person.

3. Sunday, Dec. 3 - Irish Ceili in Greenwood

The Blue Ridge Irish Music School will be presenting an Irish ceili on
Sunday, October 1  from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. at the Greenwood Community
Center in Greenwood.

  A ceili (which is pronounced KAY-lee) is a participatory
dance event, which includes live music and social dancing.  Irish ceili and
set dancing is similar to American square dance and contra dance in that the
dances are "called".

Admission is $6 for an individual, $3 for ages 8 - 16.  Under age 8 are
free.  (admission for BRIMS members is $4 for an individual and $2 for ages
8-16)

Renaissance Dance, 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, 7PM.

  No admission, but donations to cover the cost of the
hall appreciated.  Primarily English Country Dance of the early seventeenth
century and Italian dance of the late 16th.  No experience required,
