Ellen Gozion (from Pittsburgh). $4-5 donation appreciated.

Also, Ellen Gozion will be doing a house concert at Gaye & Michelle's
on Friday Nov. 10, 7-9PM. She has an incredibly rich voice and sings
many Appalachian ballads. $8 donation suggested. Space is limited,

2. Friday, Nov. 10 - English Country Dance in Ivy
Charlottesville's English Country dance group holds its
next dance on Friday, November 10 at St. Paul's Episcopal
Church in Ivy beginning at 8:00. Janet Muse and Mike Dunn
provide the music, while Jim Morrison leads the dances. The
church is located on Owensville Road in Ivy, 200 yards up
the hill from Duner's restaurant in Ivy on US 250 west of
Charlottesville. Call Brad at 823-7334 for more information.

8. Next Weds., Nov.15 - Irish Set Dance workshop in C'ville
The Blue Ridge Irish Music School will hold an Irish Set Dance workshop with
live music Wed. Nov. 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. at 214 Rugby Road in
Charlottesville (the former Prism site at the corner of Gordon and Rugby.)
In case the new wooden is slippery please bring sneaker-type shoes in
addition to your regular dance shoes. Special instruction for beginners will
start at 6:45 p.m. $7 for dancers and $3 for spectators. See

Renaissance Dance, 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, 7PM.
No admission, but donations to cover the cost of the
hall appreciated. Primarily English Country Dance of the early seventeenth
century and Italian dance of the late 16th. No experience required,
