The dance lesson before each show is informal, basic, tailored as much as
possible to participants and fun. Its family friendly - introduce your kids
to a new dance and music form; its something the family can do together

Folk Festival. There are plenty of perches for toe-tappers to enjoy
people-watching.

3. Next Weds., June 21 - Renaissance Dance at MAC in C'ville

Renaissance Dance, 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, 7PM, Charlottesville
Municipal Arts Center.  No admission, but donations to cover the cost of the
hall appreciated.  Primarily English Country Dance of the early seventeenth
century and Italian dance of the late 16th.  No experience required,

5. Saturday, July 1 -  Summer Bean King Party in Batesville

*Mark your calendar:     *Bean King, Joey Damiano, will host a *bean
party* at his place in Batesville on *July 1, 2006*..  Contra dance in
the evening after a potluck dinner, music, jamming etc.  With 40 acres,
there is plenty of room for *campers,tents,places to sleep,jam
and to have a good time*.  Details will follow closer to the date.
