1. Details on Friday's English Country Dance

Charlottesville's English Country dance group holds its 
next dance on Friday, December 8 at St. Paul's Episcopal 
Church in Ivy beginning at 8:00. Janet Muse and Mike Dunn 
will provide the music, while Howard Markham and Pat 
Ruggiero lead the dances. Come with or without a partner. 
Beginners are welcome, and encouraged to arrive at the 
start of the evening. The church is located on Owensville 
Road in Ivy, 200 yards up the hill from Duner's restaurant 
on US 250 west of Charlottesville. Call Brad at 823-7334

2. Corrections and details on Saturday's Richmond Contra

Snowflake Ball: Dec. 9 Join us for a festive evening of contra-dance.
Fancy dress encouraged but not required. Refreshments served at the
break. Cost for this special dance is $6 members/students, $9
non-members. Beginner's workshop 7:00.

This will be followed by another fabulous afterparty at Cathy Dean's
new house (directions provided at the dance).  Please bring musical
instruments and we'll see if we can't get a contra line or a set dance
or two going.  Contributions of food and beverages are most welcome!
