      It's OK to park in library lot when it is closed.)

We really enjoyed Crowfoot at our contra dance last Wednesday, and
we've talked them into stopping again on their way back home (Maine and
Canada) to play a house concert for us.

Jaige Trudel, fiddle, Adam Broome, guitar, and Nicolas Williams,
flutes, play a fiery mix of traditional and contemporary Celtic music,
drawing inspiration from the musical traditions of England, Ireland,
Quebec, Appalachia, and beyond.  Their energetic sound is full of
spirit and groove.

Crowfoot's first cd is one of my favorites, and now they have a brand
new one.  Nicolas has a lovely solo cd as well.  Of course they will be
available Tuesday evening.

Please come join us!  Concert at 7:30, with time for refreshments and
socializing after.  $10 donation suggested.

Charlottesville's English Country dance group holds its
next dance on Friday, December 8 at St. Paul's Episcopal
Church in Ivy beginning at 8:00. Live music and called dances.
