Office Sweet Spirit. Information is below. Apply to CCL by February 15.

The Sweet Spirits
Who are the Sweet Spirits?
“Sweets Spirits” are a community of students who serve as a student
leadership team to promote spiritual values and plan campus spirituality
programs. To be a Sweet Spirit is to be a woman of integrity who can be
trusted to be honest in all your affairs. Sweet Spirits are committed to
creating a positive influence on campus by being responsible role models
in the classroom, peer relationships, and their lifestyle. Sweet Spirits
extend hospitality to one another and to all members of the Sweet Briar
community through attitudes of acceptance, friendship, and compassion.
Sweet Spirits are servant leaders who find great joy in encouraging and
supporting other students and our community. Sweet Spirits are committed
to personal and spiritual growth as an essential part of the collegiate
experience.
What do we do?
Sweet Spirits activities and projects include:
• Planning Open Door Worship Service and related programs in cooperation
with the Chaplain
• Planning and leading Friday Torah Study and Shabbat Observance
• Participating in committees to plan Gospel Fest and Unsung Heroes Banquet
• Maintaining Prothro table displays and putting new flyers out
• Setting up and collecting gifts for yearly Angel Tree
• Decorating of the Chapel or Christmas Vespers
• Sponsoring Religious Diversity Awareness Events (for example, Winter
Holiday Celebration, or the “This Week in World Religion” email service)
• Sponsoring Religious Life Fair (students can meet representatives of
local faith communities)
• Bi-weekly mentoring times with the Chaplain
• Habitat for Humanity Builds
• Offering Bible Study
• Keeping the Hesychia Interfaith Prayer Room in good order
• Whatever projects you may be interested in pursuing!!!
Each Sweet Spirit chooses to be part of one of the followings teams:
• Worship Leadership Team
• Community Service and Mission Team
• Programs, Events, and Publicity Team
• Religious Diversity Education Team

Chaplain White”.
