Attention Knitters and Crocheters!

Last spring you sent over 30 items to Mongolia.  This spring, Afghans
for Afghans is collecting baby hats, socks, and blankets for the CURE
Hospital in Kabul.  A warm hat or blanket can make the world of
difference for these infants.  Don't miss this chance to make a
difference!

We are collecting baby socks, baby hats, and 10" x 10" squares for
blankets.  E-mail meador09 at sbc.edu for more information!  Items can be
delivered to Emma Meador, or dropped off at the Chaplain's office.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Because of the harsh winters in Afghanistan, Afghans
for Afghans only accepts items that are made of at least 75% wool.
Wool is warm and durable, so it helps make the most of precious
